Mueller Over Rast

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 600 ante

Greg Mueller raised to 6,300 from early position and Brian Rast made it 19,000 to go from the next seat over. Action came back around to Mueller and he flatted the three-bet.

For the draw, Mueller stood pat and Rast opted for two cards. Mueller flung out a bet of 5,000 and Rast tossed forward a call. Mueller fanned {10-}{8-}{6-}{5-}{3-}, prompting Rast to muck his cards. Mueller was pushed the pot and now has about 148,000 in chips.

Elias Eliminates Kihara

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 500 ante
Naoya Kihara - Eliminated
Naoya Kihara - Eliminated

Naoya Kihara opened with a raise from the cutoff and Darren Elias made a three-bet to 15,000 from the small blind. Kihara flatted and both players drew one card.

Elias announced an all in bet, prompting a sigh from Kihara. He peered at his hand and called all in for his last roughly 20,000 in chips.

Elias showed {10-}{8-}{6-}{5-}{4-}.

"Ten-eight?" asked Kihara, rolling over his own ten-eight with {10-}{8-}{7-}{3-}{2-}. He quickly realized that Elias' ten-eight was better and Kihara was eliminated from play. Elias, on the other hand, is up to about 125,000

Elias Doubles Through Sheikhan

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 500 ante

Darren Elias popped it up to 5,000 from the button and Shawn Sheikhan made it 15,500 from the small blind. Action folded back to Elias and he four-bet shipped all in for 48,000. Sheikhan quickly called and stood pat at the draw. Elias went into the tank for quite some time before pulling one card.

Sheikhan: {10-}{9-}{5-}{3-}{2-}
Elias: {9-}{8-}{5-}{3-}

Elias was drawing live to make a better hand than Sheikhan's ten low. Without a sweat, he instantly ripped over the {6-Hearts} to make his ninety-eight and double up. Elias now has about 100,000 in chips while Sheikhan has dropped to around 45,000.
