Hands #25-29: More For Mercier and Wright

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 3,000 ante

Hand #25: Jason Mercier raised to 24,000 and found a call from Paul Volpe. Volpe picked up one new card and Mercier opted for two. Both players checked and Volpe fanned a winning {j-}{10-}{8-}{5-}{4-}.

Hand #26: Mercier raised to 24,000 from the hijack and Brian Rast called from the button. Volpe called out of the small blind and Larry Wright out of the big. For the draw, Volpe took one card, Wright stood pat, and both Mercier and Rast took one card.

All four players checked post-draw and Volpe showed a pair of deuces. Wright tabled {J-}{10-}{6-}{5-}{3-} but was ultimately bested by Mercier's {J-}{9-}{8-}{3-}{2-}. Rast mucked and the two-time WSOP bracelet winner was pushed the pot.

Hand #27: Daniel Negreanu raised to 35,000 from the hijack and took down the antes and blinds. He showed {Q-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{3-}.

Hand #28: Wright had the button and raised to 34,000. The blinds folded and Wright was pushed the pot.

Hand #29: Wright made it 30,000 to go from the cutoff and Negreanu called out of the small blind. Negreanu picked up one new card while Wright announced that he was pat. Negreanu checked and Wright instantly moved out 105,000. Negreanu mucked and Wright was pushed the pot. He showed {5-}{4-}{3-}{2-}.
