Pezzin Soars, Parker Gone

Level 17

Stud

Parker: {x-}{x-} / {9-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{6-Spades}{J-Spades} / {x-}
Pezzin: {x-}{x-} / {9-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{5-Hearts} / {x-}

Picking up with the action on fourth street, Brock Parker led out with a bet and Pat Pezzin flatted to see his next card. Parker led once more on fifth and Pezzin opted to stick around. On sixth, it once again went bet-call with Parker leading the action. He slowed up on seventh, though, checking the action over to Pezzin. The Canadian took this opportunity to cut out one final bet. Parker went into the tank for over a minute before he dropped forward a call, leaving himself with just 10,000 behind.

Pezzin rolled over {J-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades} for a straight to the six and Parker mucked his cards. Pezzin scooped up the pot and now has about 110,000.

Parker, who was left crippled, was eliminated shortly thereafter.

Buchanan Out

Level 17

Stud 8

Shawn Buchanan was just eliminated in a hand of stud eight-or-better. He was going for a low, but couldn't make it. Kevin Song started with rolled-up jacks and they held against Buchanan and also Bill Chen's pair of kings.

Song was all in during the hand as well, and moved back to 105,000 in chips.

Klod's On the Way Up

Level 17

Razz

Chris Klodnicki's on an impressive run as he's managed to run his stack up to around 200,000. In a Razz hand, we caught Klodnicki bet on sixth street and that got Bertrand Grospellier to fold, but Kevin Iacofano made the call. Klodnicki bet in the dark on seventh and Iacofano folded after looking at his final card.

Klodnicki: {X-}{X-} / {4-}{6-}{A-}{7-} / {X-}
Grospellier: {X-}{X-} / {2-}{10-}{7-}{9-} / {X-}
Iacofano: {X-}{X-} / {5-}{2-}{6-}{Q-} / {X-}

Klodnicki raked in the big pot and now looking a lot better as we get closer and closer to the money.
