Stern's Lucky Seven Sends Cantu Packing

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Dani Stern had the button and raised it up to 2,200 and was called by Josh Arieh in the small blind. Brandon Cantu was seated in the big blind and he tanked for a bit before making it 8,900 to go.

"I'm all in," Stern said, putting both his opponents at risk.

Arieh folded right away and Cantu snap-called for about 36,000 total.

Cantu: {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Stern: {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}

Cantu was in great shape to double up and remained so after the flop came {Q-Clubs}{4-Spades}{6-Clubs}. The turn brought the {A-Clubs}, changing nothing, but the river was the {7-Diamonds} to gave Stern a set.

"No," Cantu said in disbelief, and quickly he made his way to the exit. Stern raked the pot and he's now among the leaders.
