Fricke Falling

Level 6

Stud

Walters: {x-}{x-} / {2-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{4-Hearts} / {x-}
Opponent: {x-}{x-} / {5-Spades}{A-Clubs}{3-Spades}{J-Clubs} / {x-}
Fricke: {x-}{x-} / {10-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{9-Clubs} / {x-}

Three players including Jimmy Fricke and Bruce Walters made it four bets to go on third street with unknown action. On fourth street, their opponent led into the middle. Fricke called and Walters followed suit. Sixth street saw the same action, with a player leading out and finding two calls from Frick and Walters.

On sixth street, Walters paired fours but checked his option. His opponent moved all in for his last 325 in chips Fricke cut out a raise and Walters thought for a moment before dropping out a call. Seventh street saw Walters check-call one final bet from Fricke.

Fricke instantly roleld over {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}{x-} for trip nines. Walters flashed the {2-Hearts} for two pair of fours and deuces before throwing his hand into the muck.

"I can beat that," said the all in player to Fricke. He tabled {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} for trip aces to take down the pot. After this loss, Fricke is down to just about 3,000 in chips. Walters' stack has also decreased, but he still sits among the leaders with 19,200.

James Woods - "There Should Be an Honorary Bracelet."

Level 6
James Woods
James Woods

Limit Hold'em

After taking down a pot where he bet on the turn with the board showing {10-Spades}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{J-Clubs} and showed a jack, James Woods turned his attention to the discussion they were having prior to the hand.

"I think they should give away an honorary bracelet once a year to someone in the poker community who hasn't won a bracelet but because of their contributions to the game deserves some recognition," said the Hollywood actor. "Like they do at the Academy Awards with an honorary Oscar."

Woods went on to specifically mention Chad Brown, the well-known poker professional who is going through a struggle with cancer that according to Woods has him entering hospice care. "I think I'll talk to Jack," Woods said, referring to WSOP tournament director Jack Effel.
