Billirakis Gets Called Twice

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Hand 46: Steve Billirakis raised it up from the small blind and took the pot.

Hand 47: Brandon Shack-Harris opened to 32,000 in the cutoff, and Billirakis called from the button. Shack-Harris checked the {k-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{a-Spades} flop, and Billirakis, quickly checked it back. The {10-Hearts} led to another pair of checks, and the {4-Diamonds} hit the board. Shack-Harris check-called 56,000 from Billirakis, and Billirakis showed {9-Hearts}{4-Hearts} as his cards to play. Shack-Harris had aces up with {a-}{10-}, and he took the pot.

Hand 48: Billirakis raised to 35,000 from the cutoff. Morgan Popham was the only taker in the big blind, and the flop came {q-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}. Popham checked, and Billirakis continuation-bet 50,000. Popham made the call, and the two took in the {a-Diamonds} on the turn. Billirakis took his time before firing 115,000, and Popham called. On the {9-Diamonds} river, Popham checked again, and Billirakis thought for a bit.

"How much are you playing now?" he asked, seeing it was about 250,000.

After a bit, he made a resigned-looking check.

"Ace-seven," Popham said, tabling {a-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts} for aces up.

Billirakis just nodded to let Popham know his hand was good.

Hand 49: Iori Yogo opened to 32,000, and he took down the pot.

Hand 50: In a limped blind-on-blind battle, Brandon Shack-Harris checked the {6-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{10-Spades} flop with Steve Billirakis following suit.

The {8-Hearts} turn saw Shack-Harris bet out 30,000 and Billirakis tossed his cards to the muck.
