Hands #46-48: Boyd and Norden Step Up

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Hand #46: Dutch Boyd was the single big blind after the elimination of Pok Kim and Steven Norden limped from early position. Will Givens limped as well from the button and Boyd checked his option. On the {8-Clubs}{J-Spades}{8-Diamonds} flop, Boyd and Norden checked and Givens led for 55,000.

Only Norden called and moved all in after the {4-Clubs} turn. Givens quickly folded.

Hand #47: Boyd raised to 62,000 out of the small blind and claimed the big blind and antes.

Hand #48: Boyd raised to 48,000 from the button and Paul Cogliano defended his big blind. They checked down the {4-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{5-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{9-Spades} board and Boyd won the pot with {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} versus {Q-Spades}{2-Clubs}.
