Buchman Still Climbing

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante

Plenty of paint to go around in a recent pot, as Aleksandr Denisov completed with {q-Diamonds} and was called by Eric Buchman ({q-Clubs}) and William Thompson ({k-Clubs}). Denisov bet when he picked up the {a-Spades} and Buchman raised when he got the {j-Clubs}. Thompson stayed in there, as did Denisov. Buchman continued betting for the rest of the hand.

Buchman: {x-}{x-}/{q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}/{x-}
Denisov: {x-}{x-}/{q-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{8-Spades}/{x-}
Thompson: {x-}{x-}/{k-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{j-Spades}/{x-}

Thompson called the end; Denisov folded. Buchman showed {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} for an ace-high flush and took the pot.

Denisov Gets There

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante

WIlliam Thompson completed with {k-Spades} and was called by Aleksandr Denisov with the {5-Diamonds}. Denisov called more bets on fourth, fifth and sixth before betting seventh after Thompson had checked. Thompson called.

Denisov: {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{4-Hearts}/{5-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
Thompson: {x-}{x-}/{k-Spades}{2-Spades}{5-Spades}{k-Diamonds}/{x-}

Thompson mucked his hand.

Kravchenko Gets Three Bets on Sixth

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante

Alex Kravchenko raised with {10-Hearts} after William Thompson completed with {3-Clubs} and Kravchenko bet every street through fifth.

Kravchenko: {x-}{x-}/{10-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Thompson: {x-}{x-}/{3-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

Thompson raised fifth and Kravchenko came back with a reraise, which Thompson called. Kravchenko bet again with the {6-Clubs} when Thompson caught {4-Spades} and Thompson called the river.

Kravchenko showed {k-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} for kings up, which was enough to take the pot.

Buchman Calls Down

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante

Eric Buchman completed with the {10-Diamonds} up, and William Thompson made it two bets with the {6-Clubs}. Buchman made it three bets before calling Thompson's four-bet. He then called a bet on every street.

Buchman: {10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}/{10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{4-Clubs}
Thompson: {2-Clubs}{4-Spades}{6-Diamonds}/{6-Clubs}{2-Spades}{7-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Both had two pair, but Buchman's was best.

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Alex Kravchenko completed with {q-Diamonds}, and Eric Buchman raised with {5-Spades}. Kravchenko called, and Buchman bet fourth before Kravchenko fired fifth.

Kravchenko: {x-}{x-}/{q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{a-Clubs}
Buchman: {x-}{x-}/{5-Spades}{4-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

Buchman raised, and Kravchenko called. Buchman kept betting through the {3-Spades} on sixth while Kravchenko got the {6-Hearts}. Buchman's river bet was called as well, and he showed {5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades} for two pair to take the pot.

Bryn Kenney Eliminated in 5th Place ($25,206)

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Bryn Kenney - 5th Place
Bryn Kenney - 5th Place

William Thompson completed with the {2-Hearts}, and Bryn Kenney called with {9-Spades}. It was Kenney then taking the betting lead on the next street, and Thompson called him down.

Kenney: {9-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{3-Spades}/{9-Spades}{10-Spades}{a-Hearts}{7-Spades}
Thompson: {2-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}/{2-Hearts}{4-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Spades}

Unfortunately for Kenney, Thompson made two pair on the river, and Kenney's nines were no good.

The next hand, Alex Kravchenko completed with {a-Clubs} and was raised by Bryn Kenney. Aleksandr Denisov also saw fourth street, and Kenney kept the lead there with the {7-Clubs}. Fifth street is when the action got crazy.

Kravchenko: {x-}{x-}/{a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades}
Kenney: {x-}{x-}/{6-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Denisov: {x-}{x-}/{3-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}

Kenney fired again, and Denisov called. Kravchenko raised though, and Kenney made it three bets. Undeterred, Denisov called the double bet, and Kravchenko popped it up to four bets. Kenney was all in at this point, and Denisov called. Denisov called one more bet on sixth when he caught {9-Hearts} and Kravchenko caught {6-Spades} before both players checked the river.

Kravchenko had {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{7-Spades} for a set of fours, and Kenney had {6-Clubs}{10-Spades}{q-Hearts} for tens up. He had caught a jack on sixth, no help, and he's done in fifth.

Nabih Helmi Eliminated in 6th Place ($18,802)

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Nabih Helmi - 6th Place
Nabih Helmi - 6th Place

A short-stacked Nabih Helmi came in with just three big bets and he got them all in on fifth street with Alex Kravchenko betting into him on the very first hand.

Kravchenko: {a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}/{a-Spades}{10-Clubs}{7-Hearts}
Helmi: {q-Hearts}{j-Spades}/{j-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}

Helmi had jacks, but he needed to improve to catch Kravchenko's aces. The {k-Hearts} and {4-Diamonds} were blanks for Helmi and it was one hand out, one player out here at the final table.
