Chow Survives

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

We picked up with the action after the first draw to see Michael Chow check-call a bet from Sergey Rybachenko. On the second draw, Chow took one while Rybachenko stood pat. Chow once again check-called.

Chow drew one last card on the final draw and then moved all in for his last 3,000. Rybachenko flung out a call and Chow fanned {9-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{2-}. Rybachenko flashed a ten-seven before his cards were pulled into the muck. Chow survived his all in and now has about 130,000 in chips.

Chow Chips Up with a Nine-Eight

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Michael Chow raised to 20,000 and Sergey Rybachenko and Phil Galfond both called from the cutoff and big blind respectively.

Chow drew one while the other two drew two each as Chow bet out 10,000 with both players calling before he drew one along with Galfond as Rybachenko drew another two.

Galfond then led for 20,000 with only Chow calling before he drew one as Galfond stood pat. Galfond checked, as did Chow tabling his {9-}{8-}{5-}{3-}{2-} to prompt a muck from Galfond.

Mercier Folds to Bonomo

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Justin Bonomo raised the cutoff to 20,000 and drew one as Jason Mercier defended his big blind and drew two while checking dark. Bonomo bet out 10,000 and Mercier check-called and drew two again before checking dark as Bonomo stood pat and bet 20,000.

Mercier made the call and drew one before checking to a pat Bonomo who bet out 20,000.

Mercier deliberated for a few moments before eventually folding while slipping to 335,000 as Bonomo raked in the pot to move to 640,000 in chips.

Turner Makes Eighty-Six

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Jon Turner raised under the gun and it folded around to David Benyamine who made it three bets from the button. Action came back to Turner and he called. Turner took two on the first draw while Benyamine rapped the table, opting to stand pat. Turner checked, Benyamine continued, and Turner called.

On the second draw, Turner once again took two new cards. Benyamine stood pat and fired out a bet when action checked to him. This time, however, Turner came over the top with a raise. Benyamine called. Both stood pat on the final draw and Turner moved all in for his last 11,000. Benyamine called but mucked his cards after Turner tabled {8-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-}. Turner picked up the pot, survived his all in, and now has 190,000 in chips.

Chow Chomps on Galfond

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Phil Galfond raised to 20,000 only to have Michael Chow make it three-bets to go as Nick Schulman called from the small blind along with Galfond.

Galfond and Schulman each drew two while Chow drew one and the action was checked around. Each player now drew just one and the action was action checked round before each player again drew one.

Schulman and Galfond checked to Chow who tossed in 20,000 with only Galfond making the call.

Chow tabled his {7-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-} and Galfond mucked to send Chow's stack up to 170,000 in chips.

"The Unbeatable Mr. Bonomo"

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante
Justin Bonomo
Justin Bonomo

Picking up with the action on the second draw, Eli Elezra and Justin Bonomo each took one card while David Benyamine drew two. All three players checked and repeated the same draw on the final draw. Elezra led into the middle and found a call from Bonomo. Benyamine let his hand go. Bonomo fanned {8-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{2-} and picked up the pot. This leaves Elezra with just 155,000 in chips.

Soon after, Jason Mercier raised from the cutoff and Bonomo called from the big blind. Both players took two cards on the first draw and Bonomo check-called a bet from Mecier. On the second draw, Bonomo drew two and Mercier one. Bonomo once again check-called. The final draw saw each player pick up one new card. Bonomo came out swinging with a bet and this made Mercier shift in his seat.

A moment passed before Mercier tossed out a call. Bonomo showed {8-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{2-} once again and Mercier flung his hand into the muck.

"The unbeatable Mr. Bonomo!" chimed in Elezra as Bonomo stacked his new chips. He's now sitting right around 800,000 in chips.

Tuan Le raised to 20,000 from the small blind and Phil Galfond made the call and drew three to Le's two. Le bet 10,000 and Galfond called drawing two to Le's one before he led out for 20,000.

Galfond made the call before both players drew just one card and checked.

"King!" announced Galfond before Le quickly slammed down his {10-}{7-}{6-}{3-}{2-} to scoop the pot and edge close to 700,000. Galfond has now tumbled down to roughly 175,000 in chips.
