Deadman is a Dead Man

Level 7 : 150/300, 25 ante

Sorry bout that but I had to use the pun. The young Brit Simon Deadman, who took down the 2014 Hollywood Poker Open Championship Event a few days ago, was walking out of the tournament area. The seat of David Boyaciyan on table one was also occupied by another player as well.

Slowly Closing Bronze

Level 7 : 150/300, 25 ante

The bronze section of the Brasilia Room is slowly closing all tables and moving players to other tournament areas as apparently another tournament is about to start over there. Below we have some assorted chip counts. The Pavilion Room is already empty and the same will soon apply to Amazon Purple as well.

The Rich Get Richer

Level 7 : 150/300, 25 ante

Maurice Hawkins called a raise of Domantas Klimciauskas with {Q-}{10-} and spiked trips on the {Q-}{Q-}{J-} flop. Throughout all streets he got value from his opponent, who improved on the {A-} turn with {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} and paid off the 10,000 river bet from Hawkins.
