Hands #70-75: Small Pots for All

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Hand 70: Frank Patti raised to 50,000 when first to act. Danny Nguyen and John Fontana came along to see the {8-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} flop. All three players checked and the turn {10-Spades} was dealt. Nguyen bet out 78,000 and Fontana three-bet to 156,000, winning the pot.

Hand 71: Jeff Smith raised to 52,000 and went to a flop with Fontana. It came {5-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{a-Spades} and Smith took it down with a bet of 75,000.

Hand 72: Nguyen raised to 52,000 and scooped up the blinds and antes.

Hand 73: Fontana raised to 52,000 when first to act and Smith three-bet to 140,000 from the small blind. Nguyen proceeded to four-bet to 320,000 from the big blind and Fontana gave up, as did Smith, but not after a long pause for thought.

Hand 74: Nguyen raised to 52,000 in the small blind and Fontana called in the big blind. The flop came {4-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} in this two-handed face off between the blinds. Nguyen bet 63,000 and Fontana reraised to 225,000 to win the pot.

Hand 75: Nguyen raised to 52,000 on the button and Fontana called to see the flop of {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}. Nguyen bet out 50,000 after Fontana checked, provoking Fontana to an instant muck.
