Live Final Set in First Online Bracelet Event
The first ever WSOP online bracelet event drew 905 players to WSOP.com today, creating an $859,750 prize pool that paid 100 spots. Along with a WSOP bracelet, first place will pay $197,743.
Eight hours in they were down to the final two tables with 'imgrinding' building a huge chip lead. In fact, by the time they were down to 15 players 'imgrinding' wasn't just the only player over the one-million chip mark, he held a massive 2.6 million-chip stack. The WSOP live streamed the event on Twitch and speculation ran wild as to all the players' identities. In the ninth hour of play the event reached its final six players and play was halted.
All the players' identities will be revealed to the world when the final six return to play down to a winner live at the Rio Saturday, July 4 at 12 p.m. local time. Here's how they will stack up when play resumes:
