Urbanovich Dusted Short of Two Tables

Level 28 : 80,000/160,000, 0 ante

Dzmitry Urbanovich (hijack) and Tim Andrew (button) went heads-up to the flop for 500,000 apiece and Urbanovich checked the {Q-Spades}{J-Hearts}{2-Clubs}. Andrew threw in one chip to cover Urbanovich's remaining 70,000 or so and Urbanovich called.

Urbanovich: {9-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}
Andrew: {A-}{5-}{4-}{X-}

The {A-Diamonds} turn and {3-Diamonds} river missed Urbanovich's outs and he left the tournament in 19th place. The remaining players are now taking their new seats as the PLO Giant is down to the last two tables.

Sievers Doubles Through Humphrey

Level 28 : 80,000/160,000, 0 ante

James Sievers was all in with {K-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{6-Spades}{6-Diamonds} against Jerry Humphrey's {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{9-Clubs}{4-Clubs}.

Both players flopped a set on the {6-Hearts}{10-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{8-Hearts} board but Sievers hit a straight on the turn and doubled up for 1,120,000 with another million or so already in the middle.

Steinberg Ousted by Herron

Level 28 : 80,000/160,000, 0 ante

Alan Steinberg raised to 450,000 in the cutoff and Derrick Herron potted out of the small blind. Steinberg called for all of his chips and turned up {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}. Herron rolled over {K-Hearts}{K-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Spades} and encouraged the dealer: "Spades!"

He did, indeed, receive spades on the {10-Spades}{2-Clubs}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs}{3-Spades} board and Steinberg walked away in 21st place.

Bingham Eliminates Filatov

Level 28 : 80,000/160,000, 0 ante

David Bingham limped in and called when Aleksey Filatov potted for 720,000. Filatov had only 20,000 more so they were all in on the {J-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{9-Spades} flop.

Bingham: {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{2-Clubs}
Filatov: {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}

The {5-Spades} turn and {4-Diamonds} river didn't change anything and Filatov was knocked out in 22nd place.

Balasubramanian Busts Binda and Dukes

Level 28 : 80,000/160,000, 0 ante

With all cards already turned face up, Srinivas Balasubramanian was in a three-way all-in contest against Harry Binda and Robert Dukes. Balasubramanian had both of his opponents covered and scored a double-knockout when his {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{8-Hearts} connected to the {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} board. He beat Binda's {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} as well as Dukes' {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{7-Clubs}.

Balasubramanian is now a runaway leader with 15.5 million or so.

Maryska Doubles Before Break

Level 27 : 60,000/120,000, 0 ante

On the last hand of the level, Michal Maryska opened the cutoff to 275,000 and Leif Force called on the button. Pete Arroyos came along from the big blind and they went three-way to the {6-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{A-Hearts} flop.

Arroyos checked and Maryska potted for 885,000, forcing a fold from Force. Arroyos then check-shoved and Maryska called for 2,010,000 total.

Arroyos: {Q-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}
Maryska: {8-Clubs}{7-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}

The turn came {6-Hearts} and Maryska improved to trips. Arroyos could still win with a ten but the river was the {K-Clubs} and Maryska scored a double just before the players departed on a 15-minute break.
