Siegel's Stack Keeps Growing

Clinton Monfort raised to 110,000 and Jordan Siegel decided to make it 410,000. The dealer announced that 390,000 was the maximum raise allowed so he took back 20,000.

Everyone else folded and Siegel won the most exciting pot of the last 30 minutes.

Filippos Stavrakis limped from the cutoff and so did Jordan Siegel in the small blind. Felipe Ramos checked the big blind and the flop came {8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{a-Clubs}.

Action checked to Stavrakis who bet 75,000 and Siegel then folded. Ramos then check-raised to 215,000 and Stavrakis made the call. The turn fell the {k-Clubs} and Ramos shoved all in for 380,000.

Stavrakis said, "I Know You Have a Set But I Have a Draw" and then thought for a few moments before making the fold. Ramos pulled in the pot and is now just under the one million chip mark.

Clinton Monfort opened to 110,000 from the cutoff and Filippos Stavrakis made the call from the big blind. The flop came {4-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{q-Diamonds} and action checked to Monfort who bet 115,000.

Stavrakis moved all in and Monfort snap-called. The players then revealed their hands, Monfort tabled {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades} for top set and Stavrakis showed {8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts} for a pair with a straight draw.

The turn came the {3-Spades}, completing the straight for Stavrakis. Monfort had a lot of outs going to the river and the {2-Spades} that landed was one of them. He caught his flush and took down the pot for a double through Stavrakis.
