Daher Takes from Noori

Level 19 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em

Albert Daher raised in the hijack and Michael Noori three-bet in the cutoff, short stack Andrew Barber forfeited his small blind and was left with not even one full big blind, Daher called. The flop of {6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and the {4-Hearts} turn were checked through, Daher bet the {10-Clubs} river and Noori called. Daher showed the {A-Spades}{6-Spades} for a full house and that won the pot.

"I almost bet the river, so you could have check-raised me," Noori said in table chat.

Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo

Richard Bai: {X-}{X-} / {2-Spades}{7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} / {X-}
Randy Ohel: {X-}{X-} / {3-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{5-Hearts} / {X-}
Iraj parvizi: {X-}{X-} / {7-Clubs}{3-Spades}{J-Spades}{9-Spades} / {X-}

Randy Ohel completed with a trey and Iraj Parvizi called, as did Richard Bai. After each player invested a bet on fourth, Bai paired his seven on fifth and moved all in for the last 14,000. Ohel wanted to raise, but had put in 20,000 and then said "yeah, that's a call then." Parvizi also called and Ohel proceeded to bet sixth and seventh, with Parvizi calling both bets.

Ohel announced a full house and showed the {9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts}, Parvizi flashed {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for jacks and nines and Bai sighed. He showed his {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} in the hole first, sweated the final card and mucked the {A-Hearts} face up. Bai has been eliminated in 22nd place and takes home $15,229 for his efforts.

Painful Fold for Rutter

Level 19 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Razz

Stuart Rutter: {X-}{X-} / {5-}{J-}{2-}{3-} / {X-}
Jean Gaspard: {X-}{X-} / {2-}{5-}{J-}{3-} / {X-}

After a completion and a three-bet, Stuart Rutter and Jean Gaspard headed to fourth and Gaspard bet, Rutter called. On fifth both players had identical cards showing face up and Gaspard bet, Rutter called. Much to the surprise of the whole table, both picked up the same card on sixth and again Gaspard bet, Rutter called and had 19,000 behind.

"Okay, I bet less than a full bet," Gaspard said in the dark before getting his last card, he still had the betting lead. Rutter gave it some thought and folded eventually. The Brit was then all in on third against Joseph Couden and pulled the old trick of grabbing his bag and standing up; he locked up the double on sixth already.
