Anderson Busts; Campbell Doubles

Level 14 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante
Calvin Anderson
Calvin Anderson

Seven Card Stud

Calvin Anderson: {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} / {3-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{6-Hearts} / {2-Diamonds}
Iraj Parvizi: {A-Hearts}{10-Clubs} / {J-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{2-Hearts} / {K-Spades}

Calvin Anderson was all in and at risk on third against Iraj Parvizi and tabled three diamonds, he then paired his nine on fifth street while Iraj Parvizi had over cards and a back door club flush draw. Nothing changed on sixth and Parvizi paired his king on seventh. Anderson flipped over a deuce and was eliminated.

Robert Campbell: {X-}{X-} / {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{4-Spades}{J-Hearts} / {X-}
John Hennigan: {X-}{X-} / {9-Spades}{2-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{X-} / {X-}

One hand later, Robert Campbell completed with an ace and John Hennigan made it three bets, Campbell called. Both checked fourth and Campbell bet fifth, Hennigan raised and Campbell made it three bets with 3,000 behind. Hennigan called and they got it in on sixth with Campbell turning over the {A-Spades}{10-Spades} for a pair of tens. Hennigan had the {5-Clubs}{5-Spades} for a pair of fives and Campbell received the {7-Diamonds} as final card. "You got it," Hennigan said and briefly flashed his other two cards without being able to improve, allowing Campbell to double.

Barber Takes From Gaspard

Level 14 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em

In a battle button versus small blind, four bets went in between Andrew Barber (button) and Jean Gaspard (small blind). The flop fell {Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades} and Gaspard bet, Barber called. Gaspard fired the {3-Spades} turn and the {5-Clubs} river and was called both times by Barber.

"You got ace queen?" Gaspard said and flashed his {K-Spades}{J-Spades} for a missed straight and flush draw. Barber showed {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for a pair of eights only and Gaspard laughed.

Campbell Above Average

Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo

Not long ago Robert Campbell was all in for around 50,000 and doubled, and he just scored a massive three-way pot in one of the last Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo hands to soar above average. Just prior to that, Motohiro Kondo had scooped Scott Cole with a full, aces over jacks, and the next pot turned out to be even bigger.

Robert Campbell: {X-}{X-} / {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{K-Hearts} / {X-}
Iraj Parvizi: {X-}{X-} / {7-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} / {X-}
John Hennigan: {X-}{X-} / {4-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{5-Spades} / {X-} fold

Ultimately, Campbell's bet on seventh was called only by Parvizi, while John Hennigan folded with the main pot at more than 250,000 by then already. Parvizi announced two pair, jacks and sixes, flashing the {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{6-}, which Campbell had beat with {A-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} for aces and deuces.

One hand later, Cole claimed a four-way pot in Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo against Parvizi, who only had a pair of aces. Cole had two pair and won back most chips he had lost previously.

Limit Hold'em

The game type changed right after that and Benny Glaser raised, Parvizi three-bet and Glaser moved all in for 12,000 with Parvizi coming along.

Benny Glaser: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
Iraj Parvizi: {K-Spades}{4-Spades}

The board came {J-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} and Glaser, who was all in for a mere 12,000, more than tripled thanks to the blinds.
