Jameson Painter Eliminated in 9th Place ($9,766)

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante
Jameson Painter
Jameson Painter

Jameson Painter limped from under-the-gun and Hai Chu raised to 72,000 in middle position. Action folded to Anderson Ireland in the big blind who came along and Painter tossed in the call as well.

On the {5-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{j-Hearts} flop action checked to Chu who assembled a bet of 160,000. Ireland quickly folded and Painter then check-raised and the two players got it all in for Painter's remaining 750,000.

Hai Chu: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs}
Jameson Painter: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{J-Clubs}{3-Clubs}

Chu's aces and better flush draw had Painter in poor shape and the {9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} improved Chu to the nut flush. Painter is the latest player to hit the rail.

Chu Bet Folds River

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Anderson Ireland opened the cut-off to 40,000 and Hai Chu defended in the big blind. The two players saw a flop of {6-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} and Chu decided to check-call a bet of 50,000 from Ireland.

The turn of the {4-Hearts} checked through and the river paired the board in the {6-Diamonds}.

Chu led out for a sizable bet of 150,000 and after taking a few moments Ireland then raised it up to 400,000 sending Chu into the tank.

Chu debated back and forth for a couple of minutes but ultimately decided on a fold saying he laid down a full house of {7-}{6-}.

Beer and a Half Leads Park to Fold

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Matt O'Donnell opened to 45,000 under the gun getting looked up by Anderson Ireland in middle position and Joon Park in the cutoff.

The three were dealt a {5-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{10-Spades} flop and O'Donnell led for 85,000. Ireland folded right away but Park grabbed a beer. Park drank that one and as he bent down to put the empty cup on the floor, a second beer appeared in his hand.

Park polished off half of that one as well before eventually laying his hand down.
