Sick Stand-Up Saves Bambrick

Level 18 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Hold'em

Ryan Leng limped on the button, Jesse Vilchez completed and Ryan Bambrick shoved 119,000 out of the big blind. Leng thought about it and then called, prompting a fast fold from Vilchez.

Bambrick: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}
Leng: {A-Clubs}{7-Hearts}

The {6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop gave Bambrick a flush draw but he bricked on the {3-Spades} turn. Bambrick stood up and just when he did it, the dealer flipped over the {A-Diamonds} river to rescue Bambrick's deep run.

"Sick stand-up," Leng said as he started cutting out the chips he had to ship Bambrick's way.

Hendrix and Lenter Dance for Free

Level 18 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Hold'em

Adam Hendrix bet-called on the {9-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop and check-shoved on the {8-Hearts} turn. Scott Lenter snapped him off and while both players were surely excited to see the action from their opponent, they learnt that their clash wouldn't have an outright winner. Both Hendrix and Lenter turned up the nuts with {Q-Clubs}{J-Hearts} and {Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} and they chopped the pot.

Polk Wins Showdown Against Negreanu

Level 18 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

PLO

On a {7-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop, Daniel Negreanu bet 10,000 under the gun and his neighbor Jordan Polk called while big blind Fernando Brito let his hand go.

The turn fell {6-Clubs} and Negreanu fired 40,000, earning one more call from Polk before they tapped the {4-Spades} river. Negreanu rolled over {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}{9-Clubs}{8-Clubs} but he finished second to Polk's {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs} for aces up.

Ogura Gets a Full Double

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

PLO

John Gallagher was three-betting to 34,000 out of the small blind but Takashi Ogura put the ball back in Gallagher's court, four-betting to 106,000. Gallagher thought for a while and then matched the price to continue to the {5-Spades}{2-Clubs}{10-Hearts} flop. Gallagher checked, Ogura shoved his remaining 19,500 and Gallagher called.

Gallagher: {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{4-Clubs}
Ogura: {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{4-Spades}

Ogura had double suited aces but the {4-Hearts} gave Gallagher some chances to deliver a bad beat. The {6-Diamonds} was, however, safe for Ogura and he doubled to 257,000.

Matsuzuki Doubles Through Lenter

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

PLO

Scott Lenter bet pot from the cutoff on the flop of a {7-Spades}{k-Spades}{q-Hearts} board and Dan Matsuzuki called the 36,000 wager on the button. The {4-Diamonds} hit the turn and Lenter fired pot once more, this time betting 108,000.

Matsuzuki moved all in for 113,000 total and Lenter called.

Dan Matsuzuki: {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{3-Hearts}
Scott Lenter: {q-Spades}{10-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

The {10-Clubs} completed the board and Matsuzuki's two pair was best.
