Charania Gets Paid Off

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Mohsin Charania raised it up to 2,500 in middle position and was called by the button and the big blind. The flop came {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}{9-Spades} and the action checked around to the {k-Spades} on the turn.

The big blind checked again and Charania tossed in a bet of 2,200. The button called and the big blind got out of the way. The river was the {6-Diamonds} and Charania made another small bet of 4,500. His opponent quickly called and Charania tabled {a-Hearts}{q-Spades} for the best hand.

Full House for Kiriopoulos

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Three players saw a flop of {k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and Niall Farrell began with a check from the big blind. The hijack also checked and Demosthenes Kiriopoulos tossed in a bet of 4,000 on the button. Farrell instantly folded and the hijack check-raised to 13,300. Kiriopoulos called and the {k-Spades} paired the board on the turn.

Both players checked and the {10-Diamonds} double-paired the board on the river. The hijack checked again and Kiriopoulos dropped in a bet of 35,000. His opponent thought briefly before making the call. Kiriopoulos turned over {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} for a full house and was able to scoop the pot.
