It's called the Marathon for a reason and Day 5 of Event #26: $2,620 No-Limit Hold'em Marathon will start at 1 p.m. local time at the 2019 World Series of Poker. The 16 remaining players out of the 1,083 that started are looking to find a spot at the final six and Roman Korenev has the best starting position to do so.
Korenev ended Day 4 of the tournament with 3,125,000 in chips which will be about 78 big blinds at the start of Level 25: 20,000/40,000 with a 40,000 big blind ante. He is closely followed by Yicheng Xu (3,045,000) and Dong Sheng Peng (2,930,000) from China. Others that are still in contention are WSOP bracelet winners Preston Lee (640,000) and Daniel Park (300,000). Both will start the day at the bottom of the leaderboard and are looking to run up their stacks.
The remaining players are guaranteed to take home at least $16,970 and they will win even more when they can survive one elimination. The final 15 players will be guaranteed $21,208 and a spot at the final six will earn them a minimum of $79,957. The winner of the tournament will walk away with no less than $477,401 but the bracelet will be awarded on June 15th.

The 16 remaining players have been welcomed back to the two outer feature tables in the Amazon room and the tournament director has instructed the dealers to shuffle up and deal.
Daniel Park started the day with the shortest stack but he already managed to almost double what he started with without showdown. He jammed twice already and he is now up to 500,000 from the 300,000 he started with.
He wasn't called both of the times he pushed all in and he has now a playable 13 big blinds.

Matt Russell raised to 85,000 from the early position and Sergio Fernandez three-bet to 260,000 from the cutoff. Action folded back to Russell who confirmed the amount before making the call.
The flop came , Russell continued with a bet of 130,000 which Fernandez called.
The turn was the , Russell now fired a bet of 160,000 over the line and Fernandez called again.
The river completed the board with the and Russell now barreled 180,000 into the pot. Fernandez quickly called.
"Just a ten," Russell said before turning around for the turned pair of tens.
Fernandez flipped over for the pair of kings to pick up the pot.

Yicheng Xu raised from the button to 90,000 and he was called by Roman Korenev from the small blind. The player in the big blind got out of the way.
The flop was dealt and both players checked. They also checked on the turn and the river completed the board. Korenev led out with a bet of 90,000 and Xu called.

Johan Guilbert raised to 80,000 from under the gun and Matt Russell called in the small blind. Joe Curcio three-bet to 290,000 in the big blind and only Russell made the call.
The flop came , Russell checked, Curcio bet 200,000 and Russell responded with a raise to 525,000. Curcio took a few seconds before announcing he was all-in with the bigger stack. Russell dived into the tank, talking through the options, trying to figure out what Curcio could possibly have, and then ended up folding.
