Rollercoaster Hand Boosts Adkison

Level 30 : 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

On a {j-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{7-Spades} flop Tim Adkison was facing an all-in bet of 2,575,000 from an opponent. Adkison eventually called.

Tim Adkison: {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
All-in Player: {q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

Adkison had made the perfect call with nines against a flush draw, but the {7-Diamonds} turn completed his opponent's flush.

The river, however, was the {9-Spades} and Adkison rivered a full house to eliminate his opponent.

McKay Shoves on Ono

Level 30 : 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Kathy McKay opened to 550,000 in the small blind and Saya Ono called in the big blind. The grandmother of seven, playing in her first ever WSOP event, moved all in for 2,200,000 on the {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop.

Ono thought about her decision before folding, allowing McKay to take down the pot.

Big Hands and Big Pots on Table #195

Level 30 : 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

There was no shortage of action on table 195.

In the first hand, Nicholas Ronyecz raised to 575,000 in middle position, and after action folded to Mindaugas Kerbelis on the button, he three-bet to 2,500,000.

Action folded back around to Ronyecz, who four-bet shoved all in for a total of 5,600,000, which sent Kerbelis deep into the tank.

After about two minutes he made the call, and the players tabled their hands.

Nicholas Ronyecz: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Mindaugas Kerbelis: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

As the dealer spread the flop, the {j-Diamonds} appeared right in the window, which caused Ronyecz to jump up out of his seat.

The board ran out {j-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}, and after both stacks were counted, Ronyecz was left with just 100,000.

Two hands later Ronyecz was all in for his remaining 100,000 from early position.

From two seats over Ubaid Habib raised to 550,000, only to get three-bet 2,000,000 by Kerbelis.

David Gonin made the call, and when action folded back to Habib, he folded, which created a heads up side pot.

After the dealer spread the {j-Hearts}{5-Spades}{q-Diamonds} flop, Kerbelis continued for 2,000,000, Gonin folded his nines face up, and both remaining hands were tabled.

Nicholas Ronyecz: {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Mindaugas Kerbelis: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

The {6-Clubs} turn and {4-Hearts} river were of no help to Ronyecz, and Kerbelis took the last of his chips.

Lentz Ships It at Showdown

Level 30 : 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Paul Lentz
Paul Lentz

Payman Taheri raised it to 475,000 from under-the-gun, and it folded around to Paul Lentz, who made the call from his small blind, and David Gonia, who also called from his big blind.

After all three players checked through to the river on a board reading {k-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}, Lentz tabled {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}, which prompted folds from both Gonia and Taheri.
