The Eliminations Keep Coming

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Andrew Cooper is past the 1.5 million chip mark after picking up yet another big pot at Table 118. His opponent in the hand pushed all-in on the turn on a {7-Clubs}{9-Spades}{q-Hearts}{8-Clubs} board, and Cooper made the call.

Opponent: {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}
Andrew Cooper: {q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

The at-risk player had plenty of equity with the combo flush and gutshot straight draw, but the river closed the deal for Cooper, as the {7-Hearts} appeared.

Daoud Hits Money River

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Andrew Cooper opened to 60,000 from early position and the player sitting in the cutoff called. Sitting on the button was Steven who three-bet shoved for 236,000 and action folded back around to Cooper who folded while the cutoff player called.

Steven Daoud: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Opponent: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}

Daoud had two overcards to his opponents pocket pair but missed the flop of {9-Clubs}{8-Spades}{a-Hearts}.

However, the {j-Hearts} on the turn gave Daoud all the outs in the world heading to the river.

The dealer peeled off the {10-Clubs} on the river which gave Daoud's opponent a set but that wasn't good enough as Daoud raked in the pot with broadway.

Vecino Picks a Bad Time to Bluff on Zavorotnijs

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Vitalijs Zavorotnijs
Vitalijs Zavorotnijs

Juan Vecino opened for 25,000 on the cutoff, and Vitalijs Zavorotnijs called from the button.

The two went heads-up to the flop of {7-Spades}{j-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}, and Vecino put out the continuation bet of 50,000. Zavorotnijs called, bringing about the {10-Clubs} turn. Vecino kept up the aggression, putting another 125,000 in the middle.

The river fell {4-Diamonds}, and Vecino fired the third barrel, this time for 300,000. Zavorotnijs called, showing {j-Spades}{10-Hearts} for a turned two pair. Vecino tabled {9-Spades}{6-Spades}, and unfortunately fell victim to bad timing on his triple-barrel bluffing effort.
