Hands #54- 58: Canan Doubles on the River Through Stark

Level 35 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Hand #54: Rob Stark raised his small blind to 1,000,000 and Dean Yoon made the call.

The flop fell {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and Stark continued for 1,000,000, called by Yoon. The turn was the {7-Spades} and was checked by both players. The river brought the {2-Clubs} and both checked again. Stark tabled {2-Diamonds}{2-Spades} for a set of deuces and Yoon mucked.

Hand #55: Stark raised from the button to 1,000,000 and Chris Canan moved all in for 6,930,000 from the big blind. Stark tanked for a few minutes and called.

Chris Canan: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Rob Stark: {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}

The two flip foes met again, this time with Stark needing to hold to bust Canan. But while Canan had to win the flip to survive, although he found no help at first on the board {j-Spades}{5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades} a {k-Hearts} appeared on the river to give him the double up he needed to survive. Two flips out of two for Canan between the two men and again Rob Stark suffers at the hands of his nemesis at this final table.

Hand #56: Stark open-shoved for 4,930,000 under the gun and took down the blinds.

Hand #57: Walk for Stark.

Hand #58: Canan raised under the gun for 825,000 and Yoon made the call in the big blind to see a flop {5-Spades}{9-Spades}{2-Diamonds}. Yoon check-folded after Canan's bet 700,000.
