Event #9: $600 No-Limit Hold’em Deepstack is just about ready to begin at the 2019 World Series of Poker, with Day 1 of this event scheduled to start at 11 a.m. Players receive 30,000 starting chips and will play 30 minutes levels on Day 1 of this two-day event, with one re-entry available per player, and late registration open until the end of the dinner break after Level 12 (estimated to be around 6:55 p.m.).
Twenty levels of play are scheduled for Day 1 of this tournament, which could draw a huge field with the affordable buy-in and the incentive of televised coverage for the latter stages of Day 2. The tournament restarts for Day 2 at Noon Tuesday and plays down to a winner.
The $600 No-Limit Hold’em Deepstack is the first of seven “Deepstack” tournaments on the 2019 WSOP schedule. This series of low buy-in bracelet events is new to the WSOP for 2019, and the entire schedule of Deepstack events is as follows:
The series culminates with Event #59: $600 No-Limit Hold’em DEEPSTACK CHAMPIONSHIP ($500,000 Guaranteed), and four of these seven tournaments feature guaranteed prize pools.

On a board of , a player under the gun bet 6,000 and the cutoff made the call. Stephen Bilodeau was sitting in the small blind and he reraised it to 15,000. The player under the gun made the call before the cutoff moved all in, putting both players at risk.
Bilodeau made the quick call and the cutoff tanked for a long time before folding. She said "I folded a set"

As could be expected with all of the initial seats sold out before today's action began, the $600 No-Limit Deepstack has packed the Rio with grinders.
The Brasilia and Miranda rooms are at full capacity with players for this event, as well as portions of the Pavillion and Amazon rooms. The overflow area in front of El Burro Borracho are also in play, as it's a huge turnout for this event so far.
Stephan Schaeuble just added to his stack in the early stages of this event, calling a river bet from Zheng Fang on a board of and turning over for a rivered second pair. Schaeuble's pair of queens were good and he's chipped up in Level 2.

A player in middle position raised it to 800 and Luc Bensaid reraised it to 2,400 from the cutoff to the small blind who four-bet the pot to 7,100. Only Bensaid made the call.
