Ilya Anatski: {5-Spades}{4-Clubs}
Thi "HoneyandTHI" Truong: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

5 Things You Don’t Know About the WSOP Online at GGPoker

Level 3 : 200/400, 50 ante

Now through the first part of September, the WSOP Online will be exclusively on GGPoker, so whether you're playing on the client for the first time or you're a seasoned online pro, we thought we'd bring you five things you didn't know about the WSOP Online on GGPoker.

  • 1. STAKING on DAY 2:
    Poker fans and players can now buy a piece of their favourite player's action or sell their own should they survive Day 1 of phased tournaments.
  • 2. Convert Multiple Event Tickets into T$
    After the series has finished, your unused tickets will be exchanged for T$ that you can use to enter any tournament on GGPoker
  • 3. Pick Your Own WSOP Event
    When the WSOP Online schedule on GGPoker was announced, the poker community was intrigued to see a new type of bracelet event announced! Three 'People's Choice' events were announced, with the formats and buy-ins yet to be announced.
  • 4. Best Stack Forward
    Any player that makes it to the end of a Day 1 with a stack is allowed to take part in additional Day 1s if they want to, providing they have not exceeded the maximum number of re-entries.
    However, if a player finishes multiple Day 1s with chips, only the highest chip stack will go to Day 2.
  • 5. Take Advantage of Bubble Protection
    GGPoker's popular Bubble Protection is available throughout the WSOP Online. It's available for all non-phase events with buy-ins less than $999. This means that if you register before the start of play and go on to bubble the tournament, you'll receive your buy-in back.

Yafaoui Coolers Martin's Stack

Level 2 : 150/300, 35 ante
Event 50 Hand 1
Event 50 Hand 1

Ghassan "Simbuzzi" Yafaoui raised early, and Kevin Martin reraised the button to 1,420. It folded back to Yafaoui who raised to 3,892, and Martin called to see {7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{9-Diamonds} on the flop.

Yafaoui led for 6,530 and Martin smooth-called to the {j-Hearts} turn. Yafaoui shoved for 13,853 and Martin called with a bigger stack.

Ghassan "Simbuzzi" Yafaoui: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}
Kevin Martin: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

Board: {7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{8-Spades}

It was a cooler from the start with Martin's kings crushed against the aces of Yafaoui. The board didn't help, and Yafaoui took a nice pot from the Canadian Big Brother and Twitch star.
