Gilbert was behind and at risk but had some more hope after the flop gave him two more outs with a broadway draw.

The turn was no help to Gilbert but the river completed his straight and secured him the double.

Kade Chases Out Kurth With Three Ducks

Douglas "CheeksK" Kurth raised under the gun and was called by Vanessa "ContainsNuts" Kade from the small blind, along with the big blind.

The flop was checked to Jurth who continued for another 3,000 and only Kade called to see the appear on the turn.

Kade led out for 3,488 and Kurth called bringing the river. Ked led out once again this time for 20,101 and Kurth called off his 18,734 stack.

Holtz Out Flops Negreanu's Top Set

Daniel "DNegs" Negreanu raised to 1,200 from early position and was called by Michael "BrockLesnar" Holtz from the cutoff, along with "Bearbuck" from the big blind.

The flop saw "Bearbuck" check-fold after Negreanu continued for another 1,200 and Hotlz raise to 5,231. Negreanu three-bet all in for 441,911 and Holtz snapped-off his 31,934 stack.

Both players loved the flop but Hotlz got the better end of it after flopping the nuts and neither the turn nor the river paired the board, giving Hotlz the double up.

Didonato Out Kicked by Holtz

Daniel "DNegs" Negreanu raised to 800 from the hijack, Nikhil "momndad" Gera called from from the cutoff as did Michael "BrockLesnar" Holtz on the button, and Jake "WolfWins" Didonato squeezed for his last 9,426 from the big blind.

Action was back on Negreanu who decided for fold, as did Gera and Holtz clicked the call button.

Didonato needed some help but nothing came on the flop. The turn made things interesting as both players picked up broadway draws, as well as flush draws with Hotlz holding the better diamond.

Unfortunately for Didonato, the came on the river ending his run.

Alabama's All-Time Earnings Leader Shannon Shorr Looking For Some Diaper Money

One of the most consistent crushers of the last fifteen years has been Shannon "Aulophobia" Shorr, who tops the Alabama all-time earnings list on Hendon Mob, with nearly $8.6 million in recording earnings. Shorr, who recently announced that he and his wife Joy are expecting their first child, is in action today and will be looking for more success on the virtual felt after some early success on the live felt this year.

Shorr, who had six cashes in last year's WSOP.com Online Bracelet series, but has yet to win a WSOP Gold Bracelet, found his first victory of the year in Event #28: $5,000 No Limit Hold'em Deep Stack, and for besting a 287-entrant field, Shorr added a healthy $296,535 to his bankroll. Shorr has also found a quartet of cashes in PokerGO branded events, including a fourth-place performance at the $10,000 NLH High Roller at The Venetian, good for $77,000.

With another full summer of bracelet events on the docket, will this be the year that Shorr breaks through for a WSOP Gold Bracelet to add another accolade to an already illustrious career? We'll be watching his status all summer long as "Aulophobia" shoots for the stars.

Watch Every Final Table of the 2021 WSOP Online Events on the PokerNews Twitch Channel

Starting today, the World Series of Poker (WSOP) will begin hosting daily online gold bracelet events on WSOP.com. There will be 33 bracelets awarded over 32 days, and PokerNews is excited to announce we’ll not only be live reporting all the action but also offering poker fans daily live streams.

Every day, viewers at home will have access to watching the biggest names hunt for bracelets. In conjunction with PokerNews, Jeff Platt will host early action from each tournament at twitch.tv/jeffplatt, starting around the money bubble each day and taking players all the way to the final table.

“I am thrilled to team up with PokerNews to present coverage of the 2021 WSOP Online,” said Platt, who is a co-host of the PokerNews Podcast. “We learned last year that the prestige of bracelet events draws an incredibly passionate audience on Twitch. I can’t wait to interact with that audience again as we crown poker’s newest champions.”

After Platt’s streams, coverage will then shift to twitch.tv/pokernews where PokerNews’ own Jesse Fullen will cover final table action alongside a rotating cast of co-hosts including Alec Torelli, Ryan Laplante, Jesse Sylvia, KL Cleeton, Rampage Poker, and Jaman Burton, among others. The streams will also be featured on YouTube and Facebook.

Kevin "GoneBananas" Garosshen Looking For a Fruitful WSOP Online Series

A player that looked poised for a breakout prior to the Covid-19 Pandemic was Kevin "GoneBananas" Garosshen, and even after casinos closed down for an extended period of time, Garosshen spent last year's WSOP Online Series continuing to produce solid results that cemented his status as a player on the rise.

Garosshen's big breakout occurred at one of the last live events before the heart of the pandemic, as he took down the $1,650 HPT St. Louis Main Event for $131,184 after topping a field of 392 entrants. Garosshen then set his sights on the 2020 WSOP Online Series, and went to work immediately, finishing in third-place in Event #3: $1,000 NLH Deepstack 8-Max for $73,424. Garosshen ended up with a total of nine cashes in the 2020 WSOP Online.

So far this year, Garosshen has had a smattering of success on the felt, including two deep runs in side events at the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown, and a nineteenth-place finish in last month's WPT Tampa Championship. Garosshen will be looking to have another successful summer on the virtual felt, and add a WSOP Gold Bracelet to his HPT Title.

Neri Cools Off Negreanu

Action was checked to Daniel "DNegs" Negreanu who fired out 1,680 from under the gun and "Marz5223" called before Kenneth "ACE710" Neri riased to 7,730 from the small blind.

Action was back on Negreanu who three-bet jammed for 15,725 and only Neri called.

Bryan "Pellepelle" Piccioli Going For Another Summer of Cashes

Former WSOP November Niner and WSOP Gold Bracelet winner Bryan "Pellepelle" Piccioli spent his time in the 2020 WSOP Online Bracelet Series getting his grind on, and the sheer volume of results for Piccioli, who sports over $4.5 million in lifetime Hendon Mob reported earnings, speaks for itself.

Piccioli started his WSOP Online series with the WSOP.com series, and recorded a staggering 14 cashes during the 31-event series. He netted an eleventh-place finish in Event #29: $2,000 NLH Deepstack for $15,612, and followed that up with a deep run in the final event, Event #31: $1,000 NLH Championship, finishing in twenty-seventh place for $9,897.

The next month, during the GGPoker portion of the WSOP Online, Piccioli added six more cashes to his resume, including another deep run in Event #77: $5,000 NLH Main Event. Piccioli managed to navigate his way to a twenty-third place finish in the event that was eventually won by Stoyan Madanzhiev, and for that deep run, Piccioli added another $79,625 to his account.

Can Piccioli top last year's impressive run of 14 cashes in this year's WSOP.com Online Bracelet Series? We'll be keeping an eye on "Pellepelle" all series long to see if he can add to his bracelet he earned in 2013 at the WSOP Asia-Pacific $1,100 NLH Accumulator Event.
