Two 2020 WSOP.com Online Bracelet Winners in the Early Field

Louis "PokeThese" Lynch's Winning Hand
Louis "PokeThese" Lynch's Winning Hand

As the start of the first event of the 2021 WSOP.com Online Bracelet Series begins, two players who snagged bracelets in 2020 were spotted in the field, in search of more jewelry to go in their trophy cases.

Louis "PokeThese" Lynch was able to net a bracelet early in last year's series, as the Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania native was able to best a field of 919-entries to win Event #2: $1,000 NLH Deepstack 8-Max to earn a $168,568 top prize, which at the time more than doubled his lifetime career tournament earnings. Lynch defeated Ryan "KOVID19" Ko heads-up to earn his first career WSOP bracelet.

Also in the field is Matthew "Bodeyster" Bode, who topped a field of 1,179 entries in Event #4: $500 NLH Super Turbo to win his first career WSOP Bracelet, as well as $97,091. Bode won the bracelet after calling his shot a few days prior on his Twitter account, saying, "Here goes to becoming a secret online crusher." The secret didn't stay that way for long, and a few days later, Bode earned the coveted WSOP Gold Bracelet to earn his place among the elite that own a WSOP Online Gold Bracelet.

We'll be tracking Lynch and Bode's progress throughout this year's version of the WSOP.com Online Bracelet Series to see if they can replicate their success from 2020.
