Bullet Through Stout's Heart

Matt Stout
Matt Stout

Blinds 800/1,600/200

David "dbk8826" Koshar raised to 5,950 under the gun and Matt "RubberFist" Stout three-bet to 15,100 from the cutoff. Action folded back to Koshar and he moved all in for 54,504, which prompted Stout to call off for 48,650.

David "dbk8826" Koshar: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Matt "RubberFist" Stout: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}

Stout was way out in front and stayed there on the {6-Spades}{q-Hearts}{q-Spades} flop. Unfortunately for him, the {a-Hearts} spiked on the turn to pair Koshar. The {2-Diamonds} river was a brick and Stout opted not to re-enter the tournament.

Action River Card Pays Off Big for Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Blinds 250/500/60

Daniel "DNegs" Negreanu raised to 1,000 from the cutoff and Robert "Marz5223" Marziotto called from the small blind.

When the flop came down {5-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{a-Hearts}, Marziotto check-called a bet of 1,000 and then action went check-check on the {9-Clubs} turn.

On the {7-Diamonds} turn, Marziotto bet 5,040 and Negreanu jammed all in for 53,620 for a big overbet. Marziotto called with the {8-Spades}{j-Hearts} for a straight but it was no good as Negreanu had the {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for the nut straight.

Marziotto Sets Up Coleman

Blinds 140/280/35

Dennis "DentheZen14" Coleman raised to 675 from middle position and Robert "Marz5223" Marziotto called from the small blind. When the flop fell {3-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{k-Clubs}, Marziotto bet 1,860 and Coleman called.

On the {j-Spades} turn, Marziotto bet 5,580 and Coleman called again.

After the {a-Spades} appeared on the river, Marziotto bet 16,740 and then called when Coleman jammed for 25,549 total.

Dennis "DentheZen14" Coleman: {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}
Robert "Marz5223" Marziotto: {3-Spades}{3-Clubs}

Coleman had flopped a flush draw that turned into two pair, but it was no good as Marziotto had a set of threes.

Belz Finds Lady Luck on the River

Ryan Belz
Ryan Belz

Blinds 80/160

A series of preflop raises saw Ryan "Lovemy11cats" Belz jam for 37,155 from late position and Kathryn "azulciel" Cappuccio called from the cutoff.

Ryan "Lovemy11cats" Belz: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Kathryn "azulciel" Cappuccio: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}

Cappuccio had Belz crushed and nothing changed after the {j-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop.

The {3-Spades} turn paired the board and Cappuccio was looking good until the {q-Hearts} river gave Belz a full house for the double.

Freedman bet another 490, Couden called, and the {a-Diamonds} appeared on the turn. Freedman bet again, this time 680, and Couden released his hand.

Vito "thesuitbig29" Distefano: {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}
Wendy "Cardthatric" Freedman: {k-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}

Freedman turned the best hand and held on the {10-Clubs} river. Distefano was felted after the hand but opted to re-enter back to a 40,000 starting stack.

Marziotto First to Double

Blinds 40/80

"CN_23" opened under the gun for 320 and action folded to Robert "Marz5223" Marziotto who three-bet to 1,240 from the cutoff.

Action folded back around to "CN_23" who four-bet to 4,125 before calling the 43,865 jam from Marizotto.

"CN_23": {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Robert "Marz5223" Marziotto": {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}

Marziotto had "CN_23" dominated and nothing changed after the {7-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{8-Clubs} flop.

The {k-Clubs} turn was a nice sight for Marziotto as it left "CN_23" drawing dead and the {6-Clubs} river secured him the pot.

Welcome to Event #12: $500 NLH Turbo Deepstack

WSOP.com sign lights up the Pavilion Room stage
WSOP.com sign lights up the Pavilion Room stage

Another deepstack tournament is being held today WSOP.com with Event #12: $500 NLH Turbo Deepstack starting at 3 p.m. PDT.

Since this is a turbo event, the blinds will be 8-minutes but with it also being a deepstack tournament, the $500 buy-in gives players 40,000 chips to play with.

The tournament allows players to re-enter two times with each re-entry lasting only 30 seconds, so players will need to make sure they have enough funds in their WSOP.com account before the tournament starts if they plan on re-entering.

Late registration and the re-entry option will be open for the first 2 hours and 55 minutes of play. Tournament tickets are not usable for re-entry. This is a single-day event meaning the entire tournament will be played out online and the winner will take home a WSOP Gold Bracelet.

Last year, in Event #22: $500 NLH Turbo Deepstack, it was Allan “Treeoflife” Cheung who toppled a field of 1,579 entrants, earning his first WSOP gold bracelet along with $120,083. The final table included Daniel “juice” Buzgon (4th - $38,725), Brian “JackBogle” Altman (3rd - $53,291), and runner-up Myles "Shipthemoney" Kotler (2nd - $74,039).

This is the 12th of 66 bracelet events being held on WSOP.com (33 events) and GG Poker (holding the remaining 33 events).

All events will begin at 3 p.m. PST. Satellites are running on-site for as little as $1.
