Dula Goes For the Overbet

Level 36 : 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante

Dalibor Dula has been steadily chipping away at Cole Ferraro, and in a recent limped pot, Dula and Ferraro checked both the flop and turn on a board that read {9-Spades}{6-Hearts}{q-Spades}{8-Hearts}.

On the river {3-Diamonds} however, Dula led out for two million into the 1.2 million chip pot.

Ferraro went deep into the tank to consider the bet, which represented a little over a quarter of his remaining stack.

Ultimately he folded, preserving his remaining 7.5 million chips.

The turn {2-Spades} saw another check from Dula, and Ferraro took his time before betting 1,600,000. Ferraro raised to 3,200,000, and Ferraro took a few more minutes before folding his hand.

Level 35 : 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante

Cole Ferraro called in the small blind and Dalibor Dula checked his option in the big blind.

The flop came down {10-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{9-Spades} and Dula check called a bet of 1,000,000 from Ferraro.

The turn of {4-Clubs} was checked through and the river {9-Diamonds} was bet at once more by Ferraro.

Dula thought about the hand for a short time before ultimately pulling out a stack to call. "Queen high," declared Ferraro and turned over {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}. Dula turned over {k-Hearts}{j-Spades} for King high, good enough to take the pot.
