Joshua Herman
Joshua Herman

Joshua Herman moved his short stack of about 1,800,000 into the middle from early position and got called by Chad Norton in middle position.

Herman had the {j-Spades}{9-Spades} and was trailing the {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts} of Herman.

The flop came {5-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}, the turn was the {5-Clubs} and the river came the {k-Spades} to end the run for Herman in ninth place.

Norton Wins Big One Against Wang

Level 34 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

The action was picked up on a flop of {q-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and Kevin Wang having fired out a bet of 800,000. His opponent, Chad Norton raised to 2,100,000 chips and Wang re-raised all-in. After a brief moment, Norton called and the hands were tabled.

It was the {q-Clubs}{10-Spades} held by Norton that led the {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} held by Wang.

The turn was the {q-Diamonds} and Norton filled up and left Wang drawing dead.

The meaningless river card was the {7-Diamonds} and that made it official and secured a double for Norton.

Marc Masino Eliminated in 10th Place ($15,417)

Level 34 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Marc Masino
Marc Masino

Marc Masino open-jammed for 1,800,000 from the cutoff and William Blais called from the small blind.

Marc Masino: {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
William Blais: {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}

Masino woke up with an ace but was dominated by Blais and the {q-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop didn't change a thing.

The {q-Spades} paired the board on the turn, taking away Masino's eight and it was unfortunate as the {8-Spades} fell on the river and eliminated him on the bubble to the unofficial final table.

Koray Aldemir
Koray Aldemir

Koray Aldemir pushed his last remaining chip into the middle pre-flop and was snap-called by William Blais.

The hands were tabled and it was Aldemir all-in and at risk with pocket {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} versus the pocket {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} of Blais.

The dealer ran out the board of {2-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and the aces held, which in turn eliminated Aldemir in 10th place.

Brian Bowman Eliminated in 13th Place ($12,286); Omer Gabay Eliminated in 12th Place ($12,286)

Level 33 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Omer Gabay
Omer Gabay

Kevin Wang raised to 700,000 from the cutoff. Brian Bowman jammed all in from the small blind for about 2,000,000. Omer Gabay re-jammed his larger stack of about 3,500,000 from the big blind. Action was back on Wang who had a huge decision on his hands. He thought it out for about 20 seconds before calling.

Brian Bowman: {q-Spades}{j-Spades}
Omer Gabay: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Kevin Wang: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

Wang was praying for under cards as he needed the tens to hold to score the double knockout. But the flop came {j-Clubs}{6-Spades}{9-Clubs} to send Gabay into the lead. The turn was the {q-Spades} to suddenly launch Bowman to the front of the pack but the sting in the tail came on the river as the {10-Hearts} peeled off to give Wang the set and the double knockout.

Wang, who is now the runaway chip leader, was jacked up as he pumped his fist and said "F*** yeah" multiple times while he collected his winnings.

Mathieu Papineau Eliminated in 14th Place ($9,886)

Level 33 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Mathieu Papineau
Mathieu Papineau

Mathieu Papineau raised all in for 1,960,000 from middle position and William Blais isolated from the small blind.

Mathieu Papineau: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
William Blais: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

The flop came {j-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}, giving Papineau a Broadway draw but he didn't like that it was all hearts as it also gave Blais a flush draw.

The {5-Diamonds} turn didn't change a thing as Papineau needed an ace or ten that wasn't a heart.

Unfortunately for Papineau, the {4-Hearts} fell on the river, eliminating him from the tournament as it completed Blais' flush.

Jonathan Sanders Eliminated in 15th Place ($9,886)

Level 32 : 120,000/240,000, 240,000 ante
Jonathan Sanders
Jonathan Sanders

Jonathan Sanders moved all-in for his last 1,600,000 chips from early position and was called by William Blais in middle position.

The hands were turned face-up and it was Sanders who was at risk and needed help with his {q-Spades}{j-Spades} versus the {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds} of Blais.

The dealer flopped the {8-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and Blais took a commanding lead with his pair of kings.

The turn was a {j-Spades} and gave Sanders a glimmer of hope as he paired his jack.

The river card was the {10-Diamonds} and Blais took it down with a pair of kings, and Sanders was eliminated in 15th place and took home $9,886 for his effort.
