Shunikov Doubles Through Manole

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Mihai Manole raised to 32,000 preflop from the cutoff which got calls from Dmitry Shunikov on the button and Mark Johnson in the big blind.

The flop of {4-Spades}{8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} was checked over to Manole, who bet 52,000. Shunikov responded by going all in for 183,000. Johnson got out of the way and Manole asked for a count before tossing in the call and the cards were tabled.

Dmitry Shunikov: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Mihai Manole: {j-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}

Manole had flopped bottom pair with a gutshot versus Shunikov's overpair which failed to improve on the {8-Diamonds} turn and the {5-Clubs} river, giving Shunikov the pot.

At the next table over, Ryan Laplante was eliminated.
