Harder Loses To Melier

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Christian Harder
Christian Harder

Pot-Limit Omaha

Action was picked up on the flop with 125,000 in the center, a board reading {q-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{6-Spades}, in a hand between David "Barth," Melius and Christian Harder. Melius bet pot on the flop which was followed by Harder raising pot and Melius thought only for a moment before going all-in for slightly more, which Harder called.

David "Barth," Melius: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{2-Diamonds}
Christian Harder: {q-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

Melius had an overpair with two backdoor flush draws, but it was in need of improvement against Harder's flopped two pair. The turn and river came {9-Spades}{9-Hearts} which counterfeited Harder's two pair, giving Melius the pot worth over one million chips.
