Cameron Barber Eliminated In 13th Place ($14,585)

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Cameron Barber
Cameron Barber

Action was picked up with cards on their backs and Cameron Barber all-in and at risk against Rennei Liu.

Cameron Barber: {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}
Rennei Liu: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}

The flop of {3-Clubs}{3-Spades}{9-Clubs} gave Barber a full house putting him squarely in the lead, but the turn {a-Spades} gave Liu a full house of his own. The river {j-Clubs} did not change anything for Barber and he was eliminated in 13th place.

Nut Flush for De Souza

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Tarun Gulati was in position in a heads-up pot against Kaue De Souza on a board of {q-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs} with a few hundred thousand already in the pot.

De Souza led out with a bet of 1,075,000 and Gulati tanked for several minutes before announcing a call. De Souza turned over {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for the nut flush and Gulati quietly mucked, later telling his opponent that he had queen-ten with the {q-Clubs}

Evans Shoves River

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Kaue De Souza opened to 105,000 which got the action to Seth Evans in the big blind who three-bet to 300,000 which De Souza called.

The {2-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{q-Clubs} flop was checked through to the {2-Spades} turn where action checked to De Souza who bet 200,000, which Evans called.

The river came out the {3-Clubs} and Evans went all-in for 695,000, which sent De Souza into the tank before ultimately tossing his hand into the muck.

Chad Himmelspach raised to 80,000 under-the-gun and action folded to Simon Lofberg in the big blind who was forced all-in for his remaining 80,000.

Simon Lofberg: {8-Spades}{4-Hearts}
Chad Himmelspach: {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}

"Fair fight," said Lofberg before the flop came out {q-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs} taking away some of his outs. The turn and river brought no help with {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts} and Lofberg wished his tablemates a good game before departing in 14th place.

Lisa Tan Eliminated in 15th Place ($11,847)

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Seth Evans bet 200,000 on the button and Lisa Tan moved all-in for around 1,000,000 from the big blind. Evans called with slightly less.

Seth Evans: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Lisa Tan: {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}

Evans was behind and received little help from the flop of {5-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}, but the board ran out {3-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} to give him a flush and he doubled up.

"Holy shit! Holy shit. That's why we gamble in places like this!" Evans said.

Tan was left with just 185,000 and got it all-in from the small blind in the very next hand against Kaue De Souza in the big blind.

Lisa Tan: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Kaue De Souza: {8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}

Tan was at risk but in great shape to double up. The flop of {10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{j-Spades} gave De Souza a pair and the {8-Diamonds} on the turn gave him two pair. The {k-Diamonds} on the river didn't help tan and she was eliminated in 15th place after losing two consecutive hands with pocket queens as a big preflop favorite.

"Not meant to be," Tan said glumly.
