Yifrach's Big Slick Holds

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Aleksandr Shevliakov open-shipped from under the gun for the second hand in a row, with all smaller stacks left on the table. Gal Yifrach took a stand and stuck in the last of his 225,000 chips from the small blind.

Gal Yifrach: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Aleksandr Shevliakov: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

The flop of {j-Clubs}{9-Spades}{6-Diamonds} left Yifrach in a dominating position. The {7-Diamonds} on the turn and the {4-Spades} on the river missed Shevliakov, who sent over a double up.

Hallay Keeps Climbing, Busts Kim

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

A few hands after tripling up, Axel Hallay moved all in again for 405,000. Seungyeol Kim asked for a count before calling.

Seungyeol Kim: {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Axel Hallay: {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

The {q-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{9-Diamonds} flop gave Hally a straight draw, while he paired his king on the {k-Hearts} turn. The river came the {4-Diamonds} to lock up the hand for Hallay.

The stacks were counted down and Kim was found to have the exact same stack and was eliminated. Hallay, who began the day with 185,000, is now up to 810,000.

Spinella Gets In His Last Chip

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Anthony Spinella raised to 175,000 preflop, leaving himself a single 5,000 chip behind. Craig Burke called on the button and they saw a flop of {a-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{2-Hearts}.

Spinella checked and Burke threw out a chip to put Spinella all in. "You couldn't just check it down," Spinella said, both players laughing as Spinella called off with {j-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. Burke showed {k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} for king-high.

The {8-Hearts} on the turn gave Spinella a straight draw, but Burke paired his king on the river to send Spinella to the payout desk.

James Doubles Through Hall

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

The action folded around to Jason James and Scott Hall in the blinds who quickly got all of their chips in the middle. James was the player at risk for just under 400,000 but had the inferior hand.

Jason James: {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Scott Hall: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}

The flop came {j-Hearts}{10-Spades}{3-Spades} and James hit a pair of jacks to take the lead. The {6-Clubs} on the turn and the {9-Spades} on the river changed nothing as James found a double up.

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Barry Hutter: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Hogyun Kang: {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

Hutter was well ahead as the board ran out {9-Diamonds}{5-Spades}, no help to Kang who sent a signifiant portion of his stack over to Hutter.

Martin Gavasci raised it up from the button and Georgios Sotiropoulos shoved all in for just under 300,000 in the small blind. Gavasci asked for a count and then called to put Sotiropoulos at risk.

Georgios Sotiropoulos: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Martin Gavasci: {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

The flop came {j-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} to give Gavasci a flush draw and the {9-Hearts} on the turn made his flush. Sotiropoulos was left drawing dead to the {a-Spades} on the river and was eliminated.
