Petrangelo Runs Out of Time Banks

Level 7 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Nick Petrangelo opened to 35,000 from under the gun and Mikita Badziakouski re-raised to 90,000 on his left. The action folded back to Petrangelo who called.

The flop came {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and Petrangelo check-called a bet of 40,000 from Badziakouski. The {2-Diamonds} hit the turn and both players checked to the {7-Spades} on the river.

Petrangelo checked again and Badziakouski flicked in a bet of 200,000. Petrangelo went into the tank and used his last three time banks before finally sliding his cards to the muck. Petrangelo will need to negotiate the last 3.5 levels with only 30 seconds to complete each action.

Mikita Badziakouski
Mikita Badziakouski

With around 300,000 in the middle preflop, Mikita Badziakouski and David Peters went heads-up to a flop of {7-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}. They each stuck in 115,000 on the flop to see the {10-Diamonds} on the turn.

Badziakouski checked to Peters who bet 75,000 and Badziakouski just called. The {2-Spades} paired the board on the river and Badziakouski checked again. Peters dropped in a bet of 600,000 and Badziakouski instantly responded "Nuts," as he called off his stack of 175,000.

Peters turned over {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} but Badziakouski actually had the second nuts with {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} for a full house.
