Ugur Secilmis

Action folded to Ugur Secilmis in late position who opened to 60,000. The action folded to the big blind who defended. The players were off to a flop heads up.

The 6A3 flop hit the felt and Secilmis bet 40,000 when the action was checked to him. The big blind made the call.

The K landed on the turn and the big blind checked again. Secilmis thought for only a moment before putting out a bet of 200,000. The big blind made the call again.

The J landed on the river and this time the big blind thought for about a minute before putting out a blocker bet to the tune of 200,000. Secilmis snap called and they saw the hands.

The big blind turned over AQ for top top and Secilmis rolled over K6 for a very interesting turned two pair.

Mike Allis, who won his first bracelet last year, had all of his money in the middle against another player with the board already reading J910

Mike Allis: 88
Opponent: KQ

Allis would need running cards to win the hand. The J turn helped, and the table erupted when the 8 hit the river to give Allis eights full to double up.

Myers Makes Quads

Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Action folded to a player in early position who went all in off a short stack. There was then another all in for about the same amount in late position and action folded to Alex Myers in the Big Blind who had both players covered. He didn't think for too long before pushing his chips into the middle.

The cards are tabled.

Early Position: A3
Late Position: KK
Alex Myers: QQ

The 6Q9 flop caused some commotion at the table as Myers came from behind and hit top set. The 9 turn gave Myers a full house and the late position player with kings was down to just two outs. Unfortunately for the player in late position, Myers made quads on the Q river and sent both players to the rail while giving himself new life in the tournament.
