Miracle River for Rockowitz; Franco Exits

Level 32 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Short-stacked Jesse Rockowitz moved all in preflop for 2,100,000 and was called by Ian Schechter to his left, but then Thiago Franco shoved for a few million more, and big stack Jaered Besse ripped in his stack as well.

The other players, including Schechter, quickly got out of the way and the three players tabled their cards, with Besse covering.

Jesse Rockowitz: 88
Thiago Franco: 1010
Jaered Besse: AA

Besse was in a prime position to score a double knockout and the flop of 627 was a good start.

"Oooh, so close," Rockowitz commented at the low flop.

The turn brought in the Q and all the players frantically looked around to see if anyone held a spade, but none did.

The river brought in the miracle 8 and Rockowitz simply couldn't believe it as he hit the two-outer to make a set of eights and scored a huge triple-up.

Meanwhile, Franco's tens could not hold up to Besse's aces and he was eliminated while Besse took the substantial side pot.

"Wow, imagine if I had shoved preflop instead of just calling," Schechter was shaking his head, as he had flashed AQ preflop before he made the fold.

"Yeah! Thanks for that!" Rockowitz replied emphatically as he stacked his new chips.
