David Martin moved all in for 225,000 in the cutoff. "Do you have aces?" Andreas Boelling asked as he called on the button.
David Martin: 7♦7♣
Andreas Boelling: Q♥Q♦
Martin didn't have aces and Boelling found himself well in front and poised for a knockout as the board came 5♥J♣4♦A♠.
The river, though, brought the 7♠ and Martin snapped back in his seat with his hands on his head as he hit a miracle set on the river to double up.
"I knew it. Second time on the river," Boelling lamented.

Jeanclaude Perrot attempted to raise to 50,000 from early position but was informed he had to make it 60,000. Ronald Lane called on the button, as did Greg Henry in the big blind.
The flop came 9♣K♦4♠ and Perrot continued for 80,000. Only Henry called as Lane got out of the way.
Both players checked the J♦ turn and Henry also checked the A♣ river. Perrot now fired out 115,000 and Henry quickly gave it up.

The under-the-gun player bet 85,000 and was called by Jin Hua in middle position. Andreas Boelling moved all in for 990,000 and announced: "I am on tilt!"
The under-the-gun player folded and Hua went deep into the tank. After a couple of minutes, he under-called for 860,000
Jin Hua: Q♠Q♣
Andreas Boelling: A♣K♥
The classic of all flips, but Hua won the toss as the board of 5♠4♣2♣J♦9♣ did not help the German who was reduced to four big blinds.
Boelling moved all in from the hijack the very next hand for 130,000 with K♠10♦ and ran into Pellegrino Marotta's A♣A♥. The board of 9♠3♠2♠8♣3♦ provided Boelling flush possibilities on the flop but they did not materialize and headed to the exit.

Daniel Close was all in for 335,000 from under the gun and up against Greg Mayberry in the cutoff.
Daniel Close: K♣K♠
Greg Mayberry: 10♠10♥
The board ran out Q♦Q♠6♠A♥2♦ and Mayberry was left shaking his head as Close raked in the pot.

Three players had built up a big pot of around 400,000 heading to the river on a board of 8♦3♦J♦9♠8♥ when Robert Whalen, in the big blind, bet 150,000.
Jeffrey Yarchever on the button quickly folded, while Kevin Durgin in the small blind tanked for about a minute before tossing in a call.
"I've got nothing," Whalen said, showing 10♦2♠. Durgin turned over Q♠10♠ for a straight to take down the pot.
"It took you that long? I thought you had something to think about," Whalen said to Durgin after the hand.

Mark Dunbar raised to 65,000 on the button before the small blind shoved for 310,000. Dunbar called to put him at risk.
All-In Player: K♦J♦
Mark Dunbar: A♣A♠
Dunbar's opponent picked up several outs on the 8♦J♠9♦ flop with top pair and a flush draw but bricked the Q♠ turn and 9♣ river. "Thanks a lot. You couldn't put a diamond," he lamented while Dunbar raked in the pot.
Dunbar was still stacking his chips from this hand when Douglas Houghton raised to 75,000 in early position, then Dunbar three-bet to 200,000 in the cutoff.
Houghton called and both players checked the Q♥7♥10♥ flop. The turn came the 3♦ and Houghton pushed all in for around 400,000.
Dunbar snap-called and flipped over A♥A♣ yet again. Houghton had J♥J♠ and, while he made a flush on the 9♥ river, Dunbar's ace was the nut flush as he eliminated his second opponent in a row.
Another tablemate came over to rub Dunbar's stomach for good luck as he stacked up more than 2,000,000.

Five players, including Jimmie James in early position, Kevin Song in the small blind, and big blind Greg Henry put in 60,000 before the flop as the dealer turned over K♣3♣Q♠.
Song checked and Henry pushed all in for 200,000. Only James called and the rest of the table got out of the way.
Greg Henry: K♥10♠
Jimmie James: J♦10♥
Henry was ahead with top pair heading to the 10♦ turn, but the A♦ on the river improved James to the straight to send Henry to the rail.
At the same table, Jeanclaude Perrot flashed three fingers on each hand to signal he was up to 3,300,000.
