Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Alejandro Lococo
Alejandro Lococo

Alejandro Lococo and Ankush Mandavia were heads-up in a three-bet pot with around 60,000 in the middle already. The flop came 1084 and Mandavia checked from the big blind. Lococo jammed all in from the big blind and Mandavia instantly called off his stack of around 85,000.

Ankush Mandavia: AA
Alejandro Lococo: K7

Mandavia caught Lococo bluffing but he didn't know what was in store for him. The 9 on the turn made things interesting as Lococo picked up a combo draw. The river was the J and Lococo rivered a straight, sending Mandavia to the rail.

Ullman Gives No Fuchs

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

The action folded to Tom Fuchs on the button who shipped all in for his last 39,000. Pavel Spirins also pushed all in from the small blind and Devin Ullman called off his last 160,000 chips in the big blind.

Tom Fuchs: 77
Devin Ullman: AK
Pavel Spirins: A10

The flop fell K53 and Ullman flopped the best hand with a pair of kings. The 2 and 9 runout changed nothing and Ullman doubled up while eliminating Fuchs. Spirins was left with just 12,000 chips after the hand and busted shortly after.

Taffe Takes Out Foxen

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Alex Foxen
Alex Foxen

Leo Taffe opened to 14,000 from the hijack and Alex Foxen moved all in for 138,000 from the small blind. Taffe made the call with a covering stack to put Foxen at risk.

Alex Foxen: AK
Leo Taffe: JJ

It was a classic preflop flip. The flop came Q75 giving Foxen plenty of outs. The turn was the 7 and the river was the J, giving Foxen an ace-high flush that was second best versus Taffe's full house. Foxen was sent to the rail just shy of making the money while Taffe dragged in a chunky pot.

Baker Attacks on the River

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Action was picked up on the flop. Players were heads up, the board showed 1096 and there was about 45,000 in the pot. Valeriano Toledano Moreno bet 14,000 from the small blind and David "Bakes" Baker made the call in position.

Both players checked the 6 turn. On the 8 river Moreno checked and Baker, perhaps sensing weakness, fired a 39,000 bet which was enough to force a fold from his opponent.

No Hand-for-Hand Necessary

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

As the clock was winding with the number of players still in the field, the tournament director asked the dealers to hold up after their current hand. There was one hand that was currently taking place with the action picked up on the river.

The board read KQJ8K and the button slid out a bet of 95,000 into a pot of around 140,000. Sung Joo Hyun check-raised all in as the big stack and the button slammed in some chips to call off his stack.

Hyun turned over K8 for a full house while his opponent flashed A2 for the nut flush. There were multiple eliminations on the last hand, bringing the field to 180 players remaining and everyone is in the money.
