Thorpe Wins Raising Blind

Level 4 : Blinds 800/1,600, 200 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better

Mike Thorpe raised blind from the hijack as he had done multiple previous hands and he was called by Yehuda Buchalter in the cutoff, Jerry Miller in the small blind, and the player in the big blind.

The flop rolled out 910K and action checked to Thorpe who bet and Buchalter and Miller called. The big blind raised which saw Buchalter call while Miller tossed his hand away.

On the 9 turn, the big blind bet once more which only Thorpe called.

Before the river 5 was dealt, the big blind bet and Thorpe blindly called and turned over AK97 for nines full. His opponent frustratingly turned over QJ104 for a flopped straight and the pot was pushed to Thorpe.
