Welcome to the last and final day of Event #93: $10,000 Short Deck Championship at the 2023 World Series of Poker here at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas.

A total of 106 entries joined over two action-packed days of short deck to create a prize pool of $895,300 with the winner taking home $270,160 and the prestigious gold bracelet.

After the dust settled on Day 2, it was Martin Nielsen who bagged the chip lead with a stack of 2,007,000. Close on his heels is Eric Wasserson (1,705,000) and Hong Wei Yu (1,596,000) who round out the top-three.

Also returning to battle are Ivan Ermin (743,000) and five-time bracelet winner and poker Hall of Famer John Juanda (332,000), who came into the final table as the chip leader but ran into a set-over-set cooler against Wasserson to lose most of his stack.
