Pescatori and Loman Take from LaMonica; Dickson and Sokoloff from Stein

Level 19 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Max Pescatori raised, and Kyle Loman called before Wayne LaMonica three-bet out of the small blind. Both opponents called, and LaMonica bet the {J-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop. Two calls followed. The {9-Diamonds} turn was checked, and LaMonica bet the {6-Diamonds} river. Pescatori raised, and Loman called, as did LaMonica.

Pescatori tabled {A-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades} for a straight, and Loman had {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} for the nut low. "I have a straight also," LaMonica announced. He showed {Q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} before realizing that he misread the hand.

One table over, a six-way pot in Omaha hi-lo emerged. On the {8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{K-Clubs}{Q-Spades} river, Paul Sokoloff bet out of the small blind, and Adam Dickson called. Jan Stein called, as well, and Brandon Shack-Harris folded. Sokoloff tabled {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds} for a low with a pair, and Dickson took the high half with {K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{J-Spades}{10-Clubs} for two pair.
