Hands #10-13: Maya Leads River Into Two Players

Level 5 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Hand #10 Paul Michaelis opened for 35,000 on the button and Steve Foutty called big blind. They checked it down to a river of {3-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} where a bet of 55,000 from Michaelis won the pot.

Hand #11: Thomas Boivin opened for 35,000 and got calls from Alex Rocha, Foutty, and Joe Cook. The flop was {q-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} and it was Rocha who bet 55,000 and just Boivin who called. They checked turn {3-Hearts} and river {8-Clubs} where Boivin showed {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} to win.

Hand #12: Ben Maya got a walk.

Hand #13: Michaelis opened for 37,000 and got calls from the blinds Maya and Boivin. The flop was {3-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} and Michaelis continued for 48,000 and got two calls. The turn was the {3-Spades} and it was Boivin who took over the betting for 100,000 and again got two calls. The river was the {4-Spades} and Maya took over betting, making it 125,000 and winning without showdown.
