O'Grady Applies the Pressure

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

The action folded around to Michael O'Grady on the button who raised to 700. His opponent in the big blind then bumped it up to 2,100. O' Grady called.

The flop came {4-Spades}{j-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and O'Grady moved all in for his last 8,200 as soon as his opponent checked his option. A quick muck followed and O'Grady took down the pot.

Issa Doesn't Believe

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

On a flop of {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{4-Clubs} Paul Issa checked from the small blind before his opponent bet 775 from middle position. Issa then raised to 2,150 and was called.

The turn brought the {k-Diamonds} and Issa bet 1,700. His opponent raised to 4,250. Issa snap-called.

Issa checked as the {9-Hearts} completed the board sending his opponent into the tank. Almost a minute passed before a bet of 11,500 found its way into the middle. Issa deliberated for a moment then called. He then mucked his hand in frustration when his opponent tabled {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} for top two pair and the winning hand.

McKenzie Back From the Brink

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante
Jesse McKenzie
Jesse McKenzie

Six players including Jesse McKenzie called preflop and watched as the board came {j-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}.

Both blinds checked to the player under the gun who bet 1,000. The player in middle position called forcing the player in the hijack out. McKenzie then moved all in for his last 2,400 from the button as the decision fell on the original better. She bumped it up to 5,000 sending her opponent into the tank.

"She took my stack with quads and now she's trying to finish me off," joked McKenzie, as he waited on the final player to act. He eventually folded and both live players then tabled their cards.

Jesse McKenzie: {4-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Opponent: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}

The {10-Hearts} on the turn provided no help for McKenzie but the {j-Clubs} on the river did, improving his hand to a flush and awarding him the pot.

"I'm back from 525," rejoiced McKenzie, scooping in another double up to move to over 7,000 in chips.

No Action For Stojanovski

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

Peco Stojanovski raised preflop from under the gun plus one and was called by the player on the button as well as the player in the big blind.

The flop came {k-}{q-}{3-} and the big blind checked. Stojanovski bet out 800 which forced the player on the button out. The player in the big blind thought for a moment before open mucking his {a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}.

Stojanovski sighed as he tabled {q-}{q-} for a set before raking in the small pot.

Unexpected For Capra

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

The player in the hijack called before the player in the cutoff raised to 700. Sam Capra called from the big blind as did the original limper.

The flop came {6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and Capra check-called after the cutoff bet 1,200. The hijack folded.

The turn brought the {7-Spades} and once again Capra check-called a bet totalling 3,000.

Both players checked the {3-Diamonds} on the river before the player in the cutoff turned over {6-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for two pair.

Capra rolled his eyes in disbelief before mucking his hand.
