Judah increases his stack 200%

Mel Judah has tripled up (He was very short stacked).

I caught the Omaha action on the turn in a hand with Joe Beevers and Neal Friets. It looked likes this:

{2-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{K-Hearts}

Judah bet and everyone called

{4-Diamonds}

At this point I heard Judah very quietly say a swear word under his breath.

He puts his last few chips in, Friets calls and Beevers mucks.

Judah worries over a paired board were for naught as he turned over

{A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{3-Spades}

For the nut flush and Friets mucks his hand.

Gum anyone?

Omaha Hi Lo

Eli Elezra is on the small bling for 400. Mark Vos asks how much he has behind, and Eli answers "Another 800. Vos raises, Kirk Morrison calls and Eli folds his small blind, saving his last chips. Yuval Bronhstein calls from the big blind.

The flop comes {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} and it is checked to Morrison in the cutoff, who bets out 800. Bronhstein calls and Vos mucks his hand.

The turn card is the {Q-Hearts}. Bronshtein check calls a 1600 bet from Morrison and checks dark before the river falls. Morrison checks behind and Bronshtein opens {A-Spades}{J-Clubs} for a straight. Morrison mucks his hand.

As the pot is being pushed, Morrison says "Gum anyone?" and offers a packet of gum around the table.

Bronshtein says "I'll take one". Morrison replies: "You can get stuffed!", to an eruption of laughter from the table.

David Williams Likes to Go "All In"

David Williams, playing on Day One of the £2,500 H.O.R.S.E. event
David Williams, playing on Day One of the £2,500 H.O.R.S.E. event
David Williams' downstairs table just broke a few moments ago and he was moved to Table 12 joining Jeff Madsen, Justin "ZeeJustin" Bonomo, Erik Seidel, and Chris Ferguson (making an astonishing 16 WSOP bracelets on this table alone).

Williams is quite hopped up on the complimentary cans of All In energy drink that are available to the players and is practically vibrating in his seat as he downs yet another can of the citrus-flavored variety. A cooler with four more cans in reserve sits behind his chair.

"I think we may have to cut you off" joked one of the floormen.

Ted Forrest, who busted out of this event yesterday, is apparently also a fan of the drink. He has been cruising around the tournament area, sweating his friends that are still playing, all the while guzzling from a can of the citrus-flavored drink.

I tried the grape flavor myself last night and wasn't a fan... maybe citrus is where it's at.

Mel Judah is Gone

Mel Judah was moved to the table full of big stacks and that was his undoing. It was a stud hand and all the money went in by 5th street. Judah had

{4-Hearts}{4-Spades}{6-Spades}{9-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{K-Spades}{9-Spades}

against Pascal Perrault who had

{2-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}

We are not sure which order they were in but Perrault is looking strong and Judah is looking for the door.
