Channing Finishes Naujoks

Naujoks - Lotsa Game, and Lotsa Eyeliner
Naujoks - Lotsa Game, and Lotsa Eyeliner
After doubling up once, Sandra Naujoks moved in from the cutoff, and ran into the {K-Hearts} {K-Spades} of Neil Channing in the big blind. Sandra turned over {A-Diamonds} {8-Clubs} , and was out when the board came Jack high.

Erik Seidel Eliminated

A good sport
A good sport
Well, his double through was in vain, as just a few hands later, Erik Seidel picked up {A-?}{K-?}, ran into {Q-?}{Q-?}, missed a {3-?}{6-?}{8-?}{5-?}{9-?} board and like a whisper in the wind was gone.

After the river hit, Seidel leapt from his seat, cursed his opponent and hurtled his cards at the dealer. Okay, only joking, of course he congratulated his opponent, wished the remaining players good luck and departed like the gent he is.

Christoph Bommes Dusts Off Stack

Having doubled through earlier in the day, not much has been going on with the stack of Christoph Bommes, but he just had it over the line... Cutoff Carlos Tejado raised, and button Bommes moved in over the top for a further 17,300. With 10,000 in the pot now, Tejado really gave it a good think before finally passing. In a goodwill gesture, Bommes separated his cards face down and wiggled them, in the International Sign of Pick-Any-Card. Tejado chose one and got the {Q-Hearts} .

That's the tensest it's been since the first break.

Jorgensen Gone

Yevgeniy Timoshenko has just knocked out Kristian Jorgensen after the latter was a non-believer on a {9-Hearts} {2-Clubs} {8-Spades} {5-Hearts} board, calling all in with {4-Hearts} {4-Clubs} only to find the Russian had the hand that was ahead, showing {J-Diamonds} {9-Spades}. No four on the river for Jorgensen and Timoshenko is approaching 100,000 in chips now.

Remy Biechel-ved

The French player who started today comfortably stacked, and showed no sign of being in a hurry to let it go without a fight, was just stacked (in the uncomfortable sense) by John Dwyer who got a preflop {A-Spades} {A-Diamonds} vs {K-Spades} {K-Clubs} cooler to send Remy Biechel to the rail. Dwyer up to 76,000.
