AK Giveth, and AK Taketh Away

Or the other way round, to be precise. German player Stefan Hachmeister was hovering under the starting stack when James Vogl made it 800 to go preflop - he moved in and was called immediately by the even shorter-stacked Vogl with his {A-Clubs} {K-Diamonds} . Hachmeister had {9-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} and while that looked promising on the {5-Clubs} {8-Spades} {4-Hearts} flop, the {A-Diamonds} on the turn ended up cinching it for his opponent.

In desperate shape himself now, Hachmeister then moved in preflop over the top of a Dennis O'Mahoney raise to 850. He was called so fast he didn't realize it had happened yet and the dealer had to prompt them to get their hands on their backs.

Hachmeister: {A-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds}
O'Mahoney: {J-Spades} {J-Clubs}

This time the {A-Hearts} made an appearance straight away on the flop, and with the board coming a further {8-Diamonds} {3-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds} O'Mahoney was drawing to one lone hearty Jack which missed the river and doubled Hachmeister right back up.
