Blind Leading the Blind to the Exit

Last year's Main Event runner-up
Last year's Main Event runner-up
Shaun Deeb is second to act and makes a raise up to 1,500 before John Tabatabai moves all in from the small blind for 7,375. The big blind then sits there thinking about what to do with his hand. He asks for a count of Deeb's stack, not seeming to realize John is still involved. This is confirmed when he throws enough chips out to call the initial raise.

The situation is made clear to him and he decides to call John's bet anyway, and he commits the rest of his chips. Deeb, seeing all this commotion, can't decide what to do and openly discusses this. He says, "Let's gamble," and makes the call.

Deeb shows {A-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds}.
Tabatabai shows {A-Hearts} {K-Diamonds}.
Big blind confused player shows {A-Spades} {Q-Diamonds}.

All the way to the river we go: {6-Diamonds} {7-Spades} {J-Clubs} {9-Hearts} {J-Hearts}.

A nine on the turn is good enough to seal the pot for Deeb and knock out his two opponents in one swoop.
