Cowboys for Vinson

Ben Vinson now has well over 10,000 in chips after eliminating the two players either side of him. After an early position raise, the player to Vinson's left moved in for several hundred and Vinson flat called with pocket kings. The next player along then pushed for around 5,000, which, after the initial raiser folded, Vinson duly called. I didn't catch the short stack's hand, but the shover had nines, which failed to spike on an otherwise eventful board.

Roux the Day

It appears that Roland de Wolfe limped under the gun and he, small blind Anthony Roux and the gent in the big blind saw a {4-Hearts} {5-Spades} {K-Clubs} flop. Roux bet out 200 and the big blind passed, but de Wolfe made it 500. Roux called, and they saw a {9-Hearts} turn. Roux now checked, and laid it down to a 900 bet from de Wolfe. De Wolfe flashed him {K-?} {9-?} for his efforts.

Current standings: de Wolfe 4,000, Roux 6,000.

Kellett Flying High

With the cut-off limping, Richard Kellett led for 250 from the big blind, and was quickly called. He then snapped up the pot with a nonchalant bet of 500 on an As-Ac-4s flop. Kellett, who ran deep in a recent EPT, is similarly excelling here today with circa 9,000 in chips from a starting stack of 3,000.

Table Of Current Doom

An interesting table has emerged, though there are few railers watching it owing to its position in one of the most cramped corners of the casino. Nevertheless, it currently features Barry Greenstein, Joe Serock and the newly-arrived Jesper Hougaard.

Ladies No Good in Lady-On-Lady Action

Some gross misfortune for India Storrar. She was down to around 2,000 when she looked down and found pocket queens. She raised. A lady at the table who'd been playing almost every hand reraised her and all the chips went in -- but the reraisey lady turned over pocket aces, and that was the end of it.
