Eoghan Odea (seated left) takes a bad beat on his pocket aces to bust the bubble.
Eoghan Odea (seated left) takes a bad beat on his pocket aces to bust the bubble.

Ricardo Pereira and November Niner Eoghan O'Dea mixed it up in a big preflop pot that left O'Dea all in for what looked like about 25,000. Pereira was working with {A-Clubs} {K-Spades}, but he'd run his Big Slick right into the {A-Spades} {A-Diamonds} of the Irishman.

Things went south in a hurry, though. The flop brought {K-Clubs} {4-Hearts} {K-Diamonds} and a crushing blow to O'Dea's chances, now needing to find the case ace to double up. The turn and river came {Q-Hearts}, {Q-Clubs}, though, and that's not going to get it done. It's the end of the road in Event #2 for O'Dea, but he's still got a few chances left to lock up a bracelet this year. Including that little party of nine he's returning to in Las Vegas next month.
